Hey all, this is just a quick explanation post. I have been struggling a lot of late, with a lot of things, and now it's affecting the blog. I had hoped I could just carry on reviewing and posting and that maybe it could be one stable in my life right now, but to be honest, it's become another stress and not a help. I've been struggling to read much lately and finding it more stressful because I keep thinking 'I need to read so I have content' and such. And that isn't healthy, certainly not for me, not right now.
I'd been doing well with posting usually 6, sometimes 7, times a week and having posts prepped and such. But I can't keep that pace up, it's just too much for me. Which kinda sucks really! So things are going to get a little quieter again, probably for a couple months, with 3 or 4 posts a week. But as usual, most of those will be reviews. ...providing I've managed to read enough to review. If I haven't, then, well, it'll probably just mean fewer posts. I'm sad about that, but I've gotta take care of me first, certainly right now. I hope that sooner rather than later I can return to more frequent posting, but right now this is what I need to do and I hope you all understand that and stick with me anyways.
I love my blog and reading and I want to get back to it being a fun escape, not a stressful one!
...although, if anyone would be interested in guest posting anything to help me out for a little while, I'd really appreciate it!! If it's related to YA or paranormal books, it should be suitable. Hi Claire, I can completely understand where you're coming from. As much as I love blogging it can be stressful trying to make sure I have enough to post every day! I'm trying to be less strict with myself and not feel guilty when I miss a day but it's hard especially as I do enjoy blogging & want to post.
Anyway, I hope you're feeling better soon & just wanted to say don't stress if you are posting less. The most important thing is to look after yourself - blogging is just a fun hobby :o)
Hey Cem! Take care of yourself first. The blog can come later! And with so many GREAT ;) books out there it doesn't matter when reviews get posted. There are still books I want to read that were released a year or two ago and still current ones as well!
So take care of yourself first. Take it easy, rest relax...do whatever is necessary to get better. Read slower, like 1 book week and get plenty of rest and call me in the morning. Ah ha ha!
Trying to make a funny...doesn't work so well in writing as it would in person! :P

And 3-4 posts a week (or heck even less) is perfectly fine and I don't think anyone will be put off by that (and if they are they are boogers)... Take care of yourself! I can probably contribute some reviews if you wanted.
Hey Claire! You know I feel this course of action is the best thing for you, especially since I've just done something similar :) You can count on me every other Wednesday for a review still!
